Rob was one of the founding fathers of Curtain Call Theatre and continued to be an active member of our Board of Directors. Rob also acted in many of our productions.
Rob was a founding member of the New Prague Arts Council and remained an active member of that organization. He was very active in his church and sang in the church choir. He also loved playing cards.
In remembrance of Rob, Curtain Call Theatre has named our annual scholarship for graduating High School seniors the "Robert Babione Memorial Scholarship".
Each year we will be awarding up to two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. Candidates must have participated in a Curtain Call Theatre production during their high school years and must be going on to study in the area of performing arts (almost any aspect of theatre, music or dance).
